For electricians

Open areasAuckland first, then four more cities.

We're starting in Auckland, from the North Shore to Manukau. Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton and Tauranga come next.

An area is a patch and a kind of job

You tell us the postcodes you will travel to and the kinds of job you do regularly. Together, those decide which jobs you see.

So a switchboard specialist and an EV charger specialist can share the same suburbs without tripping over each other. A job only appears to electricians whose patch and job types both fit it.

What if nobody nearby takes a job?

If a job hasn't been taken after two days, electricians elsewhere in the same region may see it on the same terms. That gives a job in a quieter spot a second chance, and if you're willing to travel further for your kind of work, those jobs can reach you too.

Can I hold an area to myself?

That's one of the two pricing options being considered, not something on offer yet. Pricing sets out both. How an exclusive area is drawn would be set out in writing in your agreement, before you take any job.

What helps you get matched

  • Postcodes you'll genuinely travel to, rather than every one in the region.
  • Job types you can back up with recent jobs, photos or reviews.
  • A practising licence and insurance that stay current, so you never drop out while we recheck.
  • Picking jobs up promptly, since the first electrician to take a job is the one who gets it.

Why we're starting with one city

A matching service only helps if someone is ready to take each job. Starting in Auckland gives each job there a better chance of a checked electrician who wants it, instead of a thin spread of names across the whole country.
